Nutritional therapy is a system of healing based on the
belief that food, as nature intended, provides the
medicine we need to obtain and maintain a state of
health: our food is our medicine and our medicine is our food.
Although some health problems require specific medication,
many conditions can be relieved effectively with nutritional
therapy.
As a nutritional therapist practicing Complementary and Alternative Medicine, I am dedicated to helping alleviate and prevent many ailments associated with our modern lifestyle and to promoting optimal health through all life stages.
This is achieved through individual prescriptions for diet and lifestyle based on each person's unique dietary and nutritional needs.
Recommendations may include guidance on natural detoxification, procedures to promote colon health, methods to support digestion and absorption, the avoidance of toxins or allergens and the appropriate use of supplementary nutrients.
